Eclectic Extras - Truly Different & Off the Wall Events
OK... there's some events even we don't know how to categorize...
there are fun and a different way to celebrate Halloween.... or follow the
real thing.
Please suggest events for this category including I'm looking for
information events from "real" para-phyc groups.
"The 1947project debuts Halloween Horrors, its most disturbing
Crime Bus tour yet. This five-hour jaunt spans downtown, Hollywood, Echo
Park and the Eastern San Fernando Valley while offering a grimly hilarious
look at more than two dozen peculiar and long-forgotten crimes, including
several with a Halloween theme. Vintage crime scene photos are featured,
with passengers urged to BYOBB (bring your own barf bag), always a smart
idea when Crimebo the Crime Clown is in attendance."
In this interactive
play, the children are apart of the action as the faeries take the children
on a quest for the Faery Queen. For ages 2-10 and the young at heart. Most
children come in costume. This is purrrrrfect for Halloween, every though
we try not to be scary.

Stuntacular is a theme park caliber live-action stunt entertainment show
(parody) produced by a group of 50 professional Hollywood stuntmen and
stuntwomen. Complete with staging, lighting, music, costumes and special
effects, these pros hold back nothing, giving both children and parents
alike jaw-dropping stunt sequences replete with duels, jumps, falls and
other high-flying thrills and chills. Stuntacular is also a wonderful
family-friendly Halloween venue, offering a great alternative to West
Hollywood. Stuntacular is a “comedic stunty spoof” of kids’
favorite characters of past years. The audience will enjoy “tricks and
treats” such as High Falls, Martial Art Stunt Fighting, Theatrical Sword
Fighting, Slides for Life, Repels, Ratchets (where a person gets jerked back
by a wire) and air rams (a catapult system based on compressed air)
This year, Stuntacular has teamed up with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of
Greater Los Angeles to make the show “for kids to help kids.” As an extra
special “treat” for the children, each Stuntacular performance will feature
a Make-A-Wish child, allowing them the chance to perform on stage with the
stunt professionals.
