Niphredil
A hobbit girl of my own creation, Niphredil likes eating and drinking,
dancing and picnicking. She has already been to a hobbit picnic in a park in
Oslo, and is planning to attend a summer Tolkien camp with other hobbits.
The blouse and apron are made from raw silk, a natural and soft material
which is great for summer wear! The edges are serged, the sleeves got a
slightly wavy finish (like a flower or something). The blouse became a
little too revealing, so I had to add a crossing-thing in front. The apron
fastens in the back with a leather cord.
The skirt and top are made from woolen fabrics. The top has lacing both
in front (for decoration) and back (functional), and when you wear it your
posture becomes incredible! Impossible to fall asleep, or even to sag a
little...
Bare feet and "peasant-like" hair goes with this look. I have a hard time
getting my hair curly, this was the best I could manage :)
