My Son as Frodo
My 5 year old son trick or treated as Frodo this past Halloween. We
used notes from your site to make a cloak, and feet (we used the
"quick feet" and the
simple fellowship cloak).
We bought the ring
bookmark for his ring necklace, which he still wears as often as I
let him. We used store-bought ears and thrift store clothing. And
of course a light up "sting" and leaf of Lorien from the costume
shop. It was a smashing success and although some didn't recognize
the character, the ones who did just loved it.
P.S. your pattern for the fellowship cloak was so easy (for a relative
beginner at sewing) I may make one for myself, just for fun!
