This costume started as an idea to make a female ranger costume. I
took elements from both Eowyn's and Faramir's outfits so I dubbed this
costume my Farawyn costume. The underdress is made from a white
linen-look fabric and styled much in the same way as Eowyn's blue
refugee underdress without the slit up the front of the skirt. The
overdress was adapted from Faramir's ranger jerkin. I made it longer
and more fitted. The sides lace with grommets and leather, and there
are 3 tabs in the front to close it. The skirt is open on the sides
and back. (When I wear my elf ears with this costume I also call it my
Female Ithilien Elven Ranger costume, or FIER for short)
